This role is responsible for financial management and executive decision support for the Customer Service and Support (CSS) organization at Microsoft. CSS is comprised of more than 25K professionals providing customer service and support impacting all Microsoft's products and services in over 190 countries and 46 different languages! The organization works directly with businesses, advertisers, developers, consumers and support partners around the world to deliver on Microsoft's mission, "to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more." CSS impacts every reporting segment of Microsoft, with regular cross-company collaboration with the Corporate Finance Teams, Engineering, Sales and Marketing, and Field organizations.
The Sr. Finance Director for CSS will be responsible for creating shareholder value by improving business performance and enhancing the financials via direct engagement with the CSS Leadership Team. Through strategic analysis and deep financial modeling of the existing CSS delivery model, this individual will play a significant role in influencing and driving sound financial and business decisions; including shaping the group's strategy. Undergraduate degree in Finance / Business, Accounting or Economics 10+ years' experience in Finance role with analytics background 5+ years Executive communication and presentation experience 5+ years leadership and people management experience with demonstrated excellence
